For the guys: Thinking about popping the question?

So, I was thinking about this the other day because my proposal, even though I will never forget it... My husband (Grant) dropping a box in my lap while going to pay for our dinner bill for my birthday dinner and saying "Here, hold this!"

I am not complaining in any way, because for my husband this was a perfectly acceptable proposal. However, as a woman that has been dreaming of being proposed to since I was a little girl, the little girl in me wished it was more.

This is for the guys:

The story of how you proposed will be told over and over for the rest of your lives. Now, I don't want you to feel pressured! As a photographer we always have great ideas. Plus having a photographer to shoot the movement it happens is always a PLUS! LOL

Our advice is to make it your own. Don't make it a surprise because women will pick up on it (they just know!). See, using a photo shoot as a way to do it is perfect because it's simple. Pick a holiday like Valentine's day or your anniversary. Make her think it's her idea! Do a shoot at home just making dinner or hit the beach at sunset. Keep it simple and we will help add the special details.

Here is a great site to help you with more ideas, "How he asked"
